On the hillside of Montmartre, hidden treasures still lie dormant, most often in the numerous properties of religious congregations. The building with courtyard and garden was delivered unfinished, after unfinished extension work. A two-storey house, plus a long garden-level addition. Thanks to the new veranda and the disappearance of part of the facade, the living room is bright and has gained a third of its surface area. The new, old-fashioned staircase with its uncovered banister leads to the "suites" on each floor, with no loss of space. Photos © Agathe Tissier.
